It has been like this for a very long time, and a lot of us are still here. So it can't be totally broken, can it? >Did I, or anyone, imply that you are old and stupid? At least I sure hope that is not the case. Except for these suggestions: of course there are some technical better boardscripts, like - vBulletin - Invisionboard These scripts are the state of art and are much more userfriendly in my opinion. They offer the users a bunch of useful features like - two or three ways of representation (threaded, flat, hybrid) - Printing and emailing opportunities of the thread, some boardscripts are also able to convert the thread to a pdf-file... - Excellent use of RSS-Feeds - Very good functional search - Bookmarking a thread - Powerful Admin-Tools - Much better formating of the text, so it is much easier to read. - Possibility of individual hacks, like inserting diagramms, playable games in the board - Automatic links - file attachments - and so on etc >I would hope that there are better reasons for keeping this forum the way it is >other than, "It has always been like this." It has always taken us where we want to go. There are no complaints. Why buy a new car? Bo Persson
