Subject: CEGT ratings "pur"

Hi all,

as I saw that Hiarcs 10 played a lot of games exactly against "Nemesis"
opponents like Rybka I calculated a more purist rating list. Here I took out all
deep versions, all version based on Fruit and only kept the best version with
enough games in.

Indeed Hiarcs 10 wins not less than 15 rating points by doing so. The Rybka
64-bit version also gains another 9 points, whereas most other ratings are not
affected too much. If the other CEGT testers agree I will keep this rating table
in the future additionally, because I think it is fairer, especially when many
settings for one engine are tested. There are of course other improvements
possible like limiting matches to 50 games with adequate results.

Matches for Hiarcs 10 hypermodern/normal are in progress. We will try to give
the same amount of games against opponents we are having with default. First
results comparing this two settings will be given in a few days.

Best Regards
Heinz
