Subject: Sorry, talking about Hydra, is there consensus that DB is not great?

Is there a consensus of opinion that the 1997 Deep Blue, the way it was, was
weak compared to certain things today, the way they are? And if not anything
else, atleast Hydra?
And if Hydra is something so special, then why are there no big challenges
against it?
