Hello Fernando, I would like to present some statistics from my tournament practice this year. I played 82 tournament games and scored 70%. Maybe, You think this is not bad? Karpov does not score 70%. Kramnik dreams of scoring 70%. Okay, I did not post to brag about my world beating play. In the 18 games I lost this year, guess how many were lost in 1 move. Of course, All 18! No kidding. It seems strange that all my victories are the result of my being clearly superior to all my competition, Yet my losses are because of a momentary lapse of concentration! I joke at the chess club that " I have never seen a position that I couldn't lose in 1 move." Don't believe me? Well, after Qxf5 I think my opponent had compensation for my knight! Regards Tony P.S. “I had a toothache during the first game. In the second game I had a headache. In the third game it was an attack of rheumatism. In the fourth game, I wasn't feeling well. And in the fifth game? Well, must one have to win every game?” (Siegbert Tarrasch)
