I was talking about the specific endgame, and calling that dead lost. Its very simple. The position was never dead lost. Lost maybe, but there is a great distance between those. I do believe the serious mistake was letting white play Rd6 after he already had played Be5. It created a profound pepreptual check pattern that even if was not successfull , it should not have been allowed.
