Not sure what you could be doing wrong. Just be sure that it says "Play against
engine" in the Game menu, and then start a game with "Start a new game against
engine".

BTW, I like MobileThinker, but if you want a free option to analyze games, I
think CEBoard, especially the new build, with Fruit 2.1 and Toga 1.1 can't be
beat. Note that I said for free options. Otherwise, one cannot besmirch the
superb Pocket Grandmaster 3.0.
