We agree computer screen chess is not the best way to play chess.
Reading some of the old posts extoling the virtues of the by-gone
dedicated wooden tournament size chess machines (and with reason)
I was tempted to buy one.
However, forethought and investigation may indicate a better
solution.
The DGT board. It's tournament size, wood and compatible with most
software available today.
The problem is this.Todays software programs are too strong.
Todays software programs do not play 'good'chess at low elo.
Low elo meaning 1350 to 1800.
Give me the DGT board with the possiblity to 'plug in'the old
1300 to 1800 elo programs and you have a customer.
More thought should be brought to bear on chess programmers
to concider Mr 1350-1800 elo.
Really more units could be sold....more profits for Mr programmer.
