In round one and after a deep positional fight Boris Diplomat lost his Queen in
move three to Chess Challenger 3. Operator of Boris, Mr Speight, suffered an
stroke but his secretary, Mrs Laura, attended him with fine results all night
long.
In round two, next morning, the operator of Mephisto I, Mr Blincoe, fell aslept
after a too much heavy night checking the openning repertoire of the machine
with the reputed book maker, Mrs. Ana, from Las vegas, so the game was declared
as a win for Chess Challenger.
Round three could not be fulfilled due to Mr Slowak, a known collector, stealing
Boris and running away too fast for the advanced age of Mr Blincoe, that tried
to chase him.
That evening, In an exhibition game, Mephisto I beated Chess Challenger 3 in
what has been considered a amazing moment of AI research as far as Chess
Challenger sacrificed three pieces in a row to get to be defeated.

The tournament, in spite of the problems, was a complete succes. Ladies returned
to Nevada with replenished purses and men returned to his homes with emptied
wallets. This is a lot better output than that you can get in any other
tournaments, where the highest and brightest moment is usually when three boring
programmers meet to sip some beer.

Farewel and come again next year regards
Fernando, ceo.
