  Hello, it is NOT full of errors, but :
1°) the informations given by the Ken Thompson files are not complete when the
stronger side cannot win. These files only tell you that you cannot win, but
they won't tell you that you are losing or drawing.
So if you only use the informations of these files to select your move,
you may lose some endgames which were draws! That's what Fritz is doing
sometimes!

2°) When the winning move is a pawn promotion, the information about
the position you get AFTER this promotion is NOT on the file concerning
the position BEFORE the promotion. In more than 99% of the cases,
 you win after promoting your pawn to a Queen. But there are a few exceptions.
As some files are missing on Fritz CD, it can make mistakes in some
positions.

Avoiding the second problem is easy (add the missing files), but the first one
shows that Ken Thompson's files are not ideal to select a move (lack of
information in the database).
