I have an Opal Plus. I would estimate it between 1500 and 1600 Max Good fun machine though for it's size The way to go for a hand held unit though is definately a Palm Pilot with Poacker Chess Program It kills the Opal Plus at 10Sec/move, has a backlit LCD display. It cost three times as much but you get what you pay for Dave
