The main concern is that sooner or later you might need to attach some device
for which no suitable 64 bit driver is present.

Or run some software which needs a driver that is not compatible.

I've been able to use Windows x64 on my work PC without serious issues, save one
program that needed a driver of it's own, and didn't ship a 32 bit version.
