This device does not use drivers -- so it work with virtually any OS. I would also keep the dual OS boot mode. Some programs will not install -- CM9K would not install, CM10K will. Chess Genius classic will not istall. 16 bit programs will not run -- period. Chessbase products appear to work fine, Arena works fine. Essentially , make sure you have all the drivers before installing. Norton does not have a 64 bit version yet - but Avast's 64 bit antivirus software is free anyway. Good Luck!
