I can explain it.

I know that Graham for example is a fine guy with a good apprehension just like
Peter whom I know too little. Bob is outstanding class of course. But even
compared with Bob, who, well, let me put it gently, is not a Mr. Bean in
computer sciences - for good reasons I may add, the other two are almost
completely unable to grasp humor or irony or satirical elements. The ASteen ban
has proven it. The point is that if you have such a lack you almost forcedly
miss the friendliness in satires because you take it for insults which they are
NOT. Every smart guy can read the messages in question and will see what I mean.

Let me explain it further.

What Fern & Steve (who is, and that already knocks them all out these two mods,
Steve himself - I dont want to go into details!) are doing is this: they take a
scheme that is always repeated here without too much thinking and everybody is
taking it for important and on-topic but in real it's empty. So they take this
scheme and fill it with THEIR special ingrediants. And whoopie the complaints
come into the postboxes of our mods who must react and this way make less good
looking people out of themselves.

This is what is happening here.

In CTF I was also a candidate for moderation. And I as a foreigner had a single
fear. What could I do if some really smart native speakers took me for a ride
and I couldnt discover it due to my weak English? I decided to continue the
elections because I know that with the neccessary humor you can digest
everything. The moment you get hard, when you become inflexible, you must
forcedly lose your sense for light jokes. And a second factor. If you believe in
your own goodness then it isnt bad if you are taken for a ride because your
conscience is sane. So - what is to fear at all?

All the best to you all!

Rolf
