Hi all, this is non-sober mode. What can we expect will be the top-performance in a few months? Rybka 64 bit multithreaded with endgame knowledge added, in CEGT terms, I predict, will be around 2900 ELO. Less than half a year ago, top engine was Schredder 9, about 2750 ELO. OK, multithreaded would be something like 2800, but still... Only now are multicore comps usual, so in practical terms, it's a 150 ELO increase in half a year, also taking into account better/cheaper processors in that time. Pretty damn exciting. Over and out almost now sober, Mr. Nielsen
