Subject: Really UCI?

I thought I would try SmarThink with some test suits with 10 secs per position.
Tests run automatically using the relevant feature of the GUI in use.
I found this:

(1) Installed under HIARCS 10, testing is stopped after the 1st position. At
least there is no more engine output displayed, and all remaining solutions are
regarded as incorrect.
(2) Installed under Shredder 9, searching does not stop after 10 seconds, no
more positions are tested. I have to say I have found this behaviour with
several other engines too.
(3) Installed under Arena everything goes well.

As the engine is the same, there must be some difference in UCI implementation.
