Then, independent here of, there is the fact that Super Connie played many games against humans reaching an elo of about 1700. Now the usual conclusion (see ie the post from Eelco below) is that Fruit on the given hardware against the same opponents would play more than 1200 points better than Super Connie... Well, similarly to what you're saying in your post, I think instead it'd be better to stay with the assertion that the calculated elo only gives the expected yield in a tourney with the chosen opponents (just that!). Extreme extrapolations may lead to very wrong conclusions. Careful Regards, Martin
