Under that "Users" directory, you will see the directory for the user that you created when you first logged in. In THAT directory, you will find a USER.INI file, where USER is the name that you logged in as. Open that file for editing and you will see, in the [engine] section, an entry titled "ttable_size". The default value for this is 20 (1MB). Each increase of 1 doubles the size of your hash table, so 21=2MB, etc.... >At any rate, I think CM6000 has serious flaws, like >no infinte analysis where you move pieces and see evaluation. > This does not exist in CM6000. >There seems to be other flaws with CM6000. Then, in the "File of Type" combobox, select "Forsythe Position". The "Open As" combobox should automatically switch to read "Forsythe Board Position." Note that this file MUST have a .TXT extension. It should open just fine. >If the answer is no to all this, then it's interface is much inferior than >Fritz. jm
