Didn't offend me in the least bit. But I could certainly see how one could think it might be offensive, since there are lots of ways to interpret humor/sarcasm/irony/etc... 2. We really don't delete off-topic posts unless (a) they build up to a significant volume and (b) they produce multiple complaints. If you want to write a post about a one-armed wallpaper hanger, I doubt it will go away. If it blossoms into a long discussion about one-armed wallpaper hangers, it might well get deleted of course, because it will produce complaints... When we get a complaint, _someone_ is going to end up upset. Either we delete the post and the author gets upset, or we leave it up and the complainer gets upset. It's not an easy decision...
