To my way of thinking, there is no such thing as "cheating" at chess. ...unless you mean, trying to steal a piece off the chessboard while opponent has gone to the restroom, hoping he won't remember. Perhaps that's true sometimes if he has had too many pints. Or, I've also heard that some players will try to hide a rook on the corner of the board under their long beard. But I am not too concerned about the rules at online chess playing sites because I don't visit them. Such anti-computer rules seem artificial. I believe it's a good assumption that 90%+ of players will use a computer if they can get their hands on one, regardless of the rules. So it's just a matter of whether you're a good enough cheat to get away with it... :) WP
