As I have already announced, GM Morovic will play Ribka soon, probably last week of january. Now I have some more details to those interested. First, problems that existed were fixed. Ivan had thought of playing F9, but then he and his sponsors were cautivated by the fact that Rybka is the last champion of ICCA tournament. He just phoned me some minutes ago to tell me that he was playing F9 to strech his muscles and that he was doing fine. I will try to get the games for you to see. Second, the sponsor is IBM. They will deliver, for the match at two games (one hour and half all the game) the fastest computer they have. Ivan is, in the meantime, studying some games of Rybka sent to him by Vas in a great show of sportmanship. Ivan will know more or less the beast he will face. In that he will have some advantage compared with some GM's that has played engines they did not know until the very last day. Also Ivan will have installed by me -this friday- in his Notebook the last version of the engine and an Arena gui which I will load with the best book available. I have my own opinion about which is the best Arena book, but I am opened to suggestions. So Ivan will have time to play with Rybka and have a sense of his strenght. I will be in charge of arranging the technical sides of all this. I will personally load and check the engine in the IBM machine and take care it is operating at full steam. Probably a 64 bits engine will be used. If something even bigger, like some kind of miniframe is proposed, I will consult details to Vas. I am also thinking in going to the event with some other masters -I am only an expert player- in order to represent Rybka and decide draws or loses if that chance happens. Nevertheless, this I must see with Vas. If he read this, please tell me about that. My email service is going nuts from time to time. Last but not least: I already got some time in my TV show to talk of this event, show Rybka, etc. I will try to get some pictures of Rybka in chilean TV. My best fernando
