Subject: Auto232 with only USB ports (solution?)

Not sure if anyone is interested but I finally found a solution to the problem
with new computers having only USB ports and no RS232 serial ports to run
auto232 games.
I found a PCI card that provides a RS232 serial port. It is made my Startech
which can be found on the internet. Their suggested price of around $51 is
higher than the $40 I paid today at a local Electronics store. The model number
of the card is PCI1S550 which provides one serial port. They also make cards to
provide more ports if you need them.
Now that I can run auto232 games again by connecting my old XP2400 to my new
64x2/3800+ I'm not sure why I want to. :-) Running eng/eng matches on a dual
core computer with each program having it's own cpu is much cleaner and simpler
than auto232. I just couldn't let the problem go untill I found a solution for
it. :-)
