I tried the Black Lion until I was clawed to change to something better and starting a 5min game it occurred to me to try something new which I call the Hedgehog/Porcupine. The moves are e6, d6, Nc6, Nf6, a6, h6, kBe7, Bd7, etc. as the situation requires. I had over 3 minutes on my clock when the game ended. I have tried it in 4 no-limit games and usually win material and the frustration especially of those who attack gungho. This is over the past few days.Probably my end is near but I don't challenge too much above my station. If you try it, let me know if it confuses as advertised. Don
