I support your decision not to use opening books but I see that at this time you test the following engines that are professional engines except toga1.1a Fritz 9 Fruit 2.2.1 Hiarcs 9 Hiarcs 10 Toga II 1.1a Ktulu 7.1 Ktulu 7.5 SmarThink 1.00 Gandalf 6 CM 10000 default CM 10000 Xperience Junior 9 Shredder 9 Deep Shredder 9 2 CPUs Deep Junior 9 2 CPU's Deep Fritz 8 2 CPU's Rybka Preview 32 bit Rybka Preview 64 bit It seems based on the CEGT rating list that the weaker engine that you test is Gandalf6.0 and the only free engine that you test is Toga1.1 some amateur engines that are ranked higher than Gandalf6 based on the CEGT list are: 1)GambitFruit1.0beta4x 2)Thinker5.0b 3)Spike1.0Mainz Uri
