Hi Tom, >The games have been played with ponder 'off'. Do you think that it is better to >set ponder 'on'?. Yes,sure. But i wonder about your hardware if you set with ponder on and then the kns(nodes) of the engines will fall down to half or the nodes will be same as with ponder off ?! If they are falling down-thats means you must run the matches with ponder off For example with my AMD 64 X2 4600 is evrything ok: -with ponder on the nodes dont fall down ! >To be honest I do not understand very much the difference. ;-) Its very important for chess: -The both engines always think ! Please inform me about the ponder results !!! >By the way, your Perfect 9 book seems to offer an interesting range of options. >I like it. Is there any way to limitate the number of moves?. For instance, any >way to set the book playing a maximum of 12 moves per engine?. Thanks in >advance. Yes ,its possible to set up to 12 moves, but you must do it manually when you create a new tourney, but for easier way i recommend to download Perfect v8.32 ctg-its up to maximum 10 moves Best, Sedat
