Eelco, Thank you very much for your specific answer (The links were very helpful). May your mother do wonderfully. I myself have had a very successful hip replacement. The disease sounds severe in its acute phases, but perhaps not so bad chronically. I hope that that is all that is wrong with Kramnik. Take care, Walter
