Subject: Either ChessBase Will Solve this or I'll break its Neck!! [Complaints]

[tatter tatter slurp] <-- old man speaking!

In those early days in 1890 I had a database with 30000 games on my 40 MB
harddrive. Duh! And I could pack a load of information in the second line, that
was the tournament header line. I even added things like ECE in front of the
specific tournament, so that I could sort the games where a soandso endgame was
played. I was more modern than - you name it. Then came ChessBase 5 or was it 6
and suddenly I could sort the games by itself in seperate pages and to have the
naked tournaments for sorting purposes I had to delete my own adds with my own
hands. Pure masochism, also regarding the fact that I had forfeited my ambitions
to become World Champion.

I'm an amateur but I have my style! I have all the commentated (!!!) games from
INFORMATOR till tome 70! With this treasure I am stronger than every other
amateur! I am a secret professional so to speak. ChessBase sold me the
INFORMATOR pearls with a tricky trick. The exact game number was always added
after the tournament place. Like Tilburg 44(222). So in the end ChessBase 9
counts almost 200 tournaments for Tilburg 1993. Every game has its own
tournament! Point is I could now delete all these numbers so that I get Tilburg
as a single tournament but I lose the informations about the exact source where
I have included my special commentaries in case in 12 years or so that line
should be played and I could then surprise the opponent with my sepcific
novelty!

Was that clear?

I need a tool that pasts the INF info into the games itself so that the
tournament line becomes empty of MISC.

To begin with - IF CB doesnt provide me with such a tool, I wouldnt be angry if
after every little page number from INF ChessBase added "Intelligently invented
by Matthias Wüllenweber, Hamburg, Old Channel, Germany, 34 degrees Celsius,
Venus is hiding behind the Horizone!" I would accept all this if only I could
become a totally normal user of the brilliant program CB9.

Lays and saboteurs please stay out of this thread, it's serious business for me!

Rolf (super GM in spe)

P.S. My name is real and I'm NOT a partymember of Th. Czub! I like CB very much
and my next kid will be baptized as Fritzchen.
