You can run pretty much any winboard windows engine under linux via wine and xboard/scid. (If UCI then with polyglot). You can run wine &, then just chmod +x engine.exe xboard -fcp ./engine.exe or xboard -fcp "wine engine.exe" or xboard -fcp polyglot and have in the polyglot.ini ENGINE="wine engine.exe" if memory serves me right.
