Some guy, writing from a secondary email provider, using a name that has as far as I can tell never appeared in a post written in r.g.c.c., unflatteringly (and probably maliciiously) characterized Bob and Bob's presence in r.g.c.c, and Bob wrote a response where he said something nasty about the guy or the guy's post or this general category of guy or this general category of post, or whatever. Day or so later Bob noticed that his thing was gone and the other guy's thing was still there, so he wrote something saying that he was leaving. Moderator response was that Bob's thing hadn't been deleted, but there was some problem that caused Bob not to see it for some period of time. I think there was also some mention that the orignal thing had been left because the moderators hadn't seen it. That's where things stand as far as I know, although perhaps I missed something or am forgetting something. I think Bob is pretty frustrated in general by people who have been sniping at him for the last couple of years. I bet he calms down and comes back before long. bruce
