Joseph, thanks for doing and posting this test. I did not see the time control and other conditions like usage of TBs, ponder, hash tables, ... . Can you please post all of this (I am aware that some of it can be concluded, by looking at the comments of the PGNs, but I am too lazy). Possilbly, in some of the positions pawn endgames are important. I believe to have made significant improvement for pawn endgames and transition to pawn endgames in Yace 0.9987. If you have enough interest and patience, you could try to repeat the match with this newer version. Also, create and use bitbases. Regards, Dieter
