And did hope that Steve get's back and can explain >it... :) hi Thomas thanks for the welcome sadly i think this auction was a big mistake for the buyer while the CC1 is the first computer ever released there is no need to pay this much for a defective one Working CC1's appear on Ebay with some regularity and usually sell for less then $500 collecting by author is an interesting approach because several program authors wrote for different companies usually collecting is done by manufacturer it would be interesting to see a collection with the Author as the backbone of the collecting philosophy Good Collecting Regards Steve
