One further suggestion is to check the size of your swap file if you're running Windows. Sounds like this should normally be fine on your system but you should verify. Also, when you re-create this condition, I would like to know what your readings are if you bring up Task Manager - on the Performance tab what are the numbers for CPU load and Memory usage?
