Rybka did not hide anywhere.. it was simply undeveloped until Vas decided to
continue work on it full time.

Excuse me for the shallow language, but -
Why do you *hate* Rybka so much?
All your posts are filled with baseless anti-Rybka propaganda and from the day
it was released you used every opportunity you had to bash and disrespect it.
What's your problem with it, really?
you also underestimate way too much in my opinion .. Do you realize at all what
did Vasik did for computerchess and how much he contributed with the release of
Rybka?

The way it seems, Rybka is the future. not only It will offer appropriate
analysis but hopefully in the future it would help chess players understand the
game better by showing what it thinks and annotating positions verbally.
This is much more interesting and important than plain engine-engine playing
strength.
I also think that Rybka will be one of the few chess programs that will offer
something new with every release.(contrary to the annual engine strengthening or
the Fritz GUI bugfest)

I think SMK knows to raise the bar and his abilities when he has to..
2-3 years ago he completely ruled the rating lists and I guess he just rested on
his laurels waiting for some serious competition.
