well, Dann forgot one point: You have to have at least one dedicated unit...
else you are FAR away from being a CC freak. :)

Besides:

I have almost all ChessBase engines, I own EVERY Lokasoft-engine except Tiger
2004. I have ChessAssistant 6 & 7, I have Chessmaster
2000,3000,4000,5000,5500,6000,7000,8000 & 9000. Of course I know how to use The
King in other GUIs. I have a lot of very old free- and shareware CDs about
chess. I know quite well about Arena but still use WinBoard the most. I have
SCID, Jose, Tom's Live Chess Viewer and a lot of other nice utilities for
WinBoard and compatible engines. Of course, like Dann, I have almost all
WinBoard compatible engines on my harddrive. Just with the newer once I could
not keep fully up.
Well, I have my own chess program, some might now. I have done some enhancements
to Bruce's fine epd2wb.
I have played in several on the board Computer Chess Tournaments, starting with
IPCCC 2001. (IPCCC 2002,2003,2004,2005a) 1st CSVN Champs, WCCC 2003 Graz, 1st
Lasker tourney in Berlin. I have pariticipated also in several CCTs...

The following dedicated units I have since now:

SciSys Chess Partner 2000
Mephisto Junior
Mephisto Milano
Saitek Centurion
Novag Chess Champion MK1
Novag Chess Champion Super System III
Mephisto Supermini
Saitek Aria
Saitek Teammate
Mephisto Mondial
Novag Chess Champion Pocket Chess

nothing really impress among them so far... But it still looks nice when I
arange them on a single table... :)

Greets, Thomas
