hehe, I could go on a lot with that stuff - like you can, I believe. E.g. I own
Genius 2,3, 3.5, 5, 6 & 6.5. I have some quite old Fritz - 1,2 & 3.
Of course I have a lot Shredders - 1,2,3,4,5,6, 7SE, 9 UCI (No 8 & no 5.32)
I have MChess 1.7x (can't remember the number), MChess 7, WChess 2000, Zarkov 5
And I have a lot of old Shareware Chess programs... I bought my first chess
computer (The Chess Partner 2000) around 1980 - so with the age of 8 1/2. I
wrote my first chess engine around 1985 on an Amstrad CPC464 and later
transfered that to Turbo Pascal 3 on the same computer. In 1993 I published my
first chess engine, called PommiChess in the Fido-Net. It was written with Turbo
Pascal 5.5. Inbetween there were several other chess programs for different
platforms. Around 1995 or 1996 or so I was member of the ICC and played there
several games. (I believe I should have the pgn's somewhere) Just before I did
start with writing Quark I was beta-tester of Crux.

In fact I have no idea how much time I have spent in this hobby the last 20
years. The only guess I can make: a lot ! And I do not want to miss one single
minute. It's still fun... :)

Greets, Thomas
