I did not try arena but only CB and S9 gui.

Maybe I do not know the right way but I did not see all the pv's at all depthes
in S9 gui when I use multi-pv and I asked shredder to copy the analysis to text
file(when I ask the program to analyze only one move I see all the pv's but the
same is also for chessbase gui)

Here is example from the opening position with 2 options

Fruit shows only analysis at depth 14 and not smaller depth

 14 0:13 +0.28 1.Nf3 Nf6 2.d4 Nc6 3.e3 d5 4.Nc3 Bd7 5.Bd3 Nb4 6.O-O h5 7.Be2
h4 (8.876.249) 682
 14 0:15 +0.28 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.e3 d5 4.Nc3 Bd7 5.Bd3 Nb4 6.O-O h5 7.Be2
h4 (10.752.310) 682
