I have played against one a long time ago. It had little LEDs on it to tell you what its move was. It did not play very well. Even on the longest thinking setting, it would make strange moves. Sometime later, I found a computer program called EdChess. I used to let it think all night on my computer and then play my move in the morning. By far, it was more invigorating to play against the little PC program. I actually prefer a 2-D screen for playing chess to a real chessboard -- by far.
