We watch programs play and criticize the moves. Later this provides evidence for our superior judgement at some point in the game. Since our suggestions (by definition) are not played – human record remains unblemished and chess programs maintain a reputation for inferior positional play. In my opinion, a non-master will mess-up a strong program with a high degree of reliability. PK
