I think every chess author would love to have 100+ beta testers paying them to test their unfinished chess program as well as create a base-level buzz of marketing (product recognition/awareness.) It's the benefit of coming out the the gate with a very strong and competitive chess program -- it generates the desire of most heavy computer chess enthusiasts (to pay you to perform the abovementioned activities) all on its own. All the Rybka postings in this forum are just more "buzz" that I speak of above. Vasik is doing nothing wrong and it's the best plan to quickly and effectively position/launch your product in this satiated market of computer chess. Regards, -elc.
