Interesting view, I would say that computers can help other past GMs as you
mention, but not all past GMs would make the same profit, we can see how Karpov
is crushed by Anand in "advanced chess", and how Kasparov "and his team" take
advantage over everyone else,  what I mean is that IMO you are right but the
help wouldn't be the same level for everyone, and this can be for several
different factors, not only specific chess strenght.
