Hello Gian Carlo ! Sorry-but a dual-core CPU don't means a dual CPU. Intel's technology(named Dothan)-for example-they place 2 cores together in one Central Processing Unit(CPU).The important thing to remember is that these two cores will use the same Level1 and Level 2 cache. The(small) advantage when using this architecture is these is no cache coherency. This means when one is running an instruction (calculation) the other core will always be able to acces the most recent variable. All the best ! PD(Silvian/Romania)
