Firstly I should tell you what I am doing. I am weeding a set of free games from around the world (230,000 or so) for use as an opening book, I mark for deletion bad lines as I arrive at them one by one, it is a work in progress. I have a CHB database. When I delete games in the Fritz 9 GUI and it is packing the database, I get this error all the time....... http://www.exactachess.com/images/strangeness/sensible_errors.gif# The GUI then restarts itself by itself. My question is, what does this error mean? Next question is....... Do any of you get this and know why it happens? Christopher
