Very strange, and unfortunately I cannot reproduce it. Glaurung always finds Qc1+ at ply 2 and sticks to it in my tests. Have you activated the new, experimental position learning feature? If the answer is yes, this *might* explain the problem. Position learning is almost completely untested, and bugs are certainly possible. Tord
