Yes, the common core are the bugs in the CB GUI. Still, I wouldn't go so far as
to qualify CB as being dishonest.

So instead you think Vasik should write a post saying that the CB GUI is
wonderful, and he officially protests anyone saying the contrary.

I don't recall him saying he would make a GUI at all.

Declarations? Which declarations? You make lots of declarations, critisizing
people for testing with settings you don't like, settings you don't approve of,
and other things. Since people test settings for their pleasure, and no other
reason, you are basically protesting their pleasure and feel they don't have the
right or shouldn't. You then protest even the engines they choose to discuss or
play with, feeling this is unfair to other engine authors, and that they must
stop and instead test other engines out of fairness. You haven't yet understood,
it would seem, that people don't test engines out of fairness, or out of
scientific research (for the most part), but for their own selfish enjoyment.
Scandalous isn't it?
