IMHO, it is possible, to accurately determine the strenght of Pocket PC programs on a PC. Many Pocket PC engines are identical to their PC versions, so there only remains a difference in nodes per second, hashtablesize, and probably tablebases (which seem to have very little effect on practical playing strenght on a PC). You only need to reduce the speed/thinkingtime and hashtablesize of a PC engine to make it play like it's Pocket PC version. Best, Frank
