There may be a tendency for authors to use results against the then market
leader as a measure of progress, resulting in effectively tuning the engine
against Shredder.
I remember Mr Rajlich quoting his results against Shredder when he first asked
for beta testers.
While it is early days still in the Hiarcs Shredder match, if these results are
representative, they are not in line with the results that Hiarcs gets against
other engines.
