There have been plenty of comparisons previously for G5 PPC vs AMD for chess -- I've normally seen the G5 at 70-75% of the AMD. Deep Shredder doesn't see a huge speed-up for 64-bit, something between 15-18%. Shouldn't be too hard to estimate. -elc.
