It's also funny. My company, which will remain nameless, bought up
thousands and thousands of DNS entries to stop criticism.

Reminds me of what a government does to try to suppress opposition.

I think it backfires.

People have to be allowed to be free to express their total dissatisfaction
with anything (generally) or else you're bargaining for trouble.
