It depends on your understanding of 'different'. Looking at the final positions
of involved King and Rook there are only the two well known standard positions
after c-castling and g-castling. Looking at the starting positions of involved
King and Rook, there are 21 initial placements for each of both sides, giving a
sum of 42, the well known answer for the last question of mankind.
