Hi, we are working on new versions in half jear cycles, thus a Version 1.2 will not be built before late summer. The Version 1.1 beta is nearly the same as the Version 1.1. There will be no playing strength relevant changes to the Version 1.1 of Spike. All we´ll fix are interface or configuration problems. Ralf and me agreed to not deliver new Versions of Spike right to everyone, but to deliver it first to "tournament players". The reason is that we dont like messages like: Spike played 0:10 vs Fruybka, thus it is bad. With a CEGT Raiting everybody can easily see the strength - and the weakness - of a Spike version in engine vs. engine games with a statistical relevant amount of games and with short and longer time control.
