I have chessbase products but I never use it for EPD processing. ChessAssistant, Shredder, etc. are far more useful for me because they can produce EPD output. After ChessAssistant and Shredder the next most common EPD processor for my use is Arena (ignoring Chest and other command line tools that I use all the time). So we will need a ChessBase expert of some sort to tell us how to use the EPD in ChessBase.
